Kyocera Display's monochrome display provides exceptionally high contrast, luminance, and a wide viewing cone for your handheld application needs.

Monochrome TFT modules are the perfect choice for customers who are looking to upgrade from a monochrome passive display to TFT, but may not require a color display. A monochrome TFT provides all of the benefits of a traditional color TFT, including fast response times, high brightness, wide viewing cone, and a higher contrast ratio. Also, by removing the color filter, the transmissivity of the display is increased allowing for higher brightness without an increase in backlight power consumption.
