Power Integrations’ InnoSwitch™3 with PowiGaN™ Technology is an internally developed gallium nitride technology designed to revolutionize power electronics. PowiGaN switches supplant traditional silicon transistors in PI's InnoSwitch3 offline flyback switcher ICs, leading to reduced switching losses. The result is a range of chargers, adapters, and open-frame power supplies that are not only smaller and lighter but also highly efficient. PowiGaN technology allows for 95% efficiency across the entire load range and supports up to 100 W power output in enclosed adapter setups, eliminating the need for an additional heatsink. Power Integrations InnoSwitch™3 with PowiGaN™ Technology is a significant advancement in power supply efficiency and compactness, making it an ideal choice for USB PD and PPS rapid charging adapters, consumer products, appliance and industrial applications.
