The first SoCs in the QorIQ T series are the flagship T4240 with 12 physical cores supporting 24 virtual cores and the T4160. These platforms sit at the high end of the performance spectrum for Power Architecture operating at 1.8GHz providing large caches, hardware acceleration, and advanced system peripherals. The P1 products are cost effective single and dual-core solutions targeting low-end control and data applications. They scale to 1.2GHz and run in an under 5W maximum power envelope. The P2020/P2010 products are focused on the mid to low end mixed control and data applications. The processors provide pin compatibility to some of the P1 family of processors and operate in an 8W and under power envelope at 1.2GHz. The P2040, P2041, and P3041 processors sit at the mid-range of the performance spectrum for Power Architecture operating at up to 1.5GHz and introduce a cost and power reduced alternative to the P4040 family. The P5 family consists of single, dual, and quad e5500 64-bit cores with frequencies up to 2.4GHz.  These pin-compatible devices have a performance-boosting architecture with a tri-level cache hierarchy and advanced DPAA.
