Digitally-controlled, fully-regulated bus converters for DC-DC intermediate bus architectures from OmniOn Power

Image of OmniOn Power's Barracuda™ Series DC-DC Converters OmniOn Power's Barracuda series of DC-DC converters are a new generation of DC-DC power modules designed to support intermediate bus applications where multiple low voltages are subsequently generated using point-of-load (POL) converters, as well as other applications requiring a tightly-regulated output voltage. With an input voltage range of 36 VDC to 75 VDC in a DOSA-standard quarter brick, the converter incorporates digital control, synchronous rectification technology, and a fully-regulated control topology. This leads to lower power dissipations, so for many applications a heat-sink is not required.
