In addition to the basic regulation parameters, the output noise, Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR), and transient response provide a measure of the quality of the power supply voltage out. These specifications distinguish a basic LDO from a performance LDO. A PSRR in the range of 60dB plus and noise less than 60uVRMS are preferred for performance applications.
