Shown on this slide are some power solutions that were designed specifically to work with the C6455, its power needs and sequencing. There are a couple of options available, depending on whether 5 V or 12 V inputs are available and the level of integration that is desired, power modules can be used as shown in the left figure, creating an easy to design system. The two remaining figures illustrate different power solutions with combinations of different types of products, such as integrated FETs, which can be seen with the TPS54 part numbers, and TPS7, which in TI nomenclature are linear regulators, and can offer low noise rails for as needed in the system being designed.
