For applications that may require more than one connector with the same position size, coding can be easily accompished by inserting a standard coding pin into any one of the four holes on the bottom of the part. Proper coding of the product will prevent someone from accidentally connecting a part in the wrong spot on a printed circuit board. Additionally, the SKEDD products can be marked or labeled to help prevent wiring errors, and the parts can also be made available in different colors.
