This second product comparison slide delineates the output ripple and noise of the MEF1 models and that of the competitive field. The MEF1 is superior to all models with the singular exception of some of the Comp. E models. However, the footnotes in the competitor’s datasheet reveal that these figures were obtained using extraordinary output capacitance. In addition, it is notable that the typical noise figures for Murata’s MEF1 series run twenty five to thirty percent of the maximum figures shown.
