Red Pitaya is based on a dual core ARM Cortex A9 + Xilinx Zynq FPGA system-on-chip (SoC), which features a dual core processor and FPGA logic, allowing for software and hardware programming which can be done by users themselves. With customization at the FPGA and CPU levels, Red Pitaya can process real-world signals and with its high bandwidth Ethernet connectivity allows more precise measurements and provides control and data streaming even in remote locations.
