Die PolyTron™-PPTC-Komponenten (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) von Eaton Bussmann schützen empfindliche Komponenten
Die rücksetzbaren, radial bedrahteten Sicherungen der PolyTron-PTC-Familie von Eaton Bussmann basieren auf einem speziellen Material mit positivem Koeffizienten, dessen Innenwiderstand bei Überstrom und höheren Temperaturen exponentiell ansteigt. Sie schützen empfindliche Komponenten vor Überstrom und Übertemperatur, die durch Überspannungen, elektrische Spannungsspitzen, hohe Umgebungstemperaturen und vieles mehr entstehen können. Die rücksetzbaren PTC-Sicherungen von Eaton gewährleisten eine konstante Betriebszeit in Anwendungen, bei denen der Einsatz von Einmal-Sicherungen unpraktisch oder teuer wäre, wie z. B. bei batteriebetriebenen Geräten, industriellen Steuerungen, medizinischen Geräten und E/A-Anschlüssen der Unterhaltungselektronik.
