
MAX3185x Thermocouple to Digital Converters

A brief tutorial of the technology and advantages of thermocouples will be presented. Despite these advantages, there are difficult challenges facing the designer to convert the thermocouple signal into a format that can be comprehended by a microcontroller. To solve this problem, Maxim introduces the MAX3185x family, monolithic solutions that can replace up to 6 components in the discrete design.
