To help your circuit design, the ZXLD1350 calculation tool uses an estimation spreadsheet which provides an excellent starting point for your design. Clear instructions are provided on the use of the calculator which enables you to try a number of LED combinations at various voltages, currents and frequencies. The intent of the calculator is to try different parameters and explore the results, it will not solve your design by inputting your requirements. The calculator has many traps to stop invalid entries. This is can be downloaded from the Zetex website: www.zetex.com and can be found in the deign tools section. Remember this is a simplified design aid which will give approximate answers but not a substitute for actual design and building your circuit.
