LowPower-Slide9

All of the unregulated DC/DC converters featured on the previous slides accept only nominal input voltage ranges, which means that the input voltage that can be accepted by those converters is only ±10% from the nominal input voltage. The low power DC/DC converters up to 3W featured on this slide are single and dual bipolar output, regulated DC/DC converters with 1kVDC isolation. With the exception of the NMF series, whose output voltage is programmable, the converters on this slide also accept a 2:1 input voltage range. For example, the input voltage of a converter whose nominal input voltage is 24V, can be varied from 18V up to 36V. As mentioned earlier, the output voltage of regulated DC/DC converters does not vary significantly with input voltage or output loading variation. The converters listed in the table are generally available with output voltages of  5, 9, 12 or 15V; operate over a wide temperature range of -40 to 85°C (unless otherwise noted); and are also offered with different pin configurations. For example, the 3W single output NDY, NDTS, NDTD, UST and BST series offer industry standard DIP 24 pin-out configurations.
