In summary, the AOCJY series is a family of oven controlled crystal oscillators, or OCXOs, both surface mount and through-hole packaged. The crystal oscillator circuit is placed in a temperature controlled chamber which maintains a temperature at which the frequency vs. temperature performance is flat. This results in frequency stability ranges of between ±5 ppb and ±30 ppb over an ambient temperature range of -40ºC to +75ºC and as precise as ±2 ppb over a range of 0ºC to +50ºC. Depending on the package, close-in phase noise can range between -130 dBc/Hz to -145 dBc/Hz typical @100Hz offset from a 10 MHz carrier. All Abracon OCXOs are computer pre-aged and temperature tested. Some possible applications for the OCXOs are cellular infrastructure, radar systems, test and measurement equipment, GPS tracking , and WiMax/WLAN.
