LEMO is the original push-pull latching connector. Multi-pin is the most common insert configuration for this modular product. The contacts are Swiss screw machined brass/bronze with hard gold plating. There are optional keyways beyond the standard “G” keyway for applications that require keying to prevent inadvertent cross connections. There are 8 different shell sizes, ranging from size 00, which is about ¼” diameter, to size 5B, which is about 1 3/8” diameter. The B series features an indoor dust tight IP50 rated interconnection; however, there are options for receptacles that are watertight when unmated. The interconnections are 360 degree terminations for excellent RFI/EMI shielding performance.
