Putting the design of conventional control systems on a diet is all made possible by the low mounting depth. The distance between the front panel and the PCB is only 9.2 mm, even when using switching elements with silver contacts for mains voltage. It does not get any thinner than this with unbeatably flat panels.  An alternative to the PCB design is the Quick Connect option which is also low profile, as they only require 27 mm of space behind the front panel, they provide excellent room for maneuvering when it comes to designing exciting control panels. Diverse actuators and switching element options ensure that the series can cover many possible combinations. Whether the round or square operating elements, or the option of using gold contacts for 5 V applications to silver contacts for applications that require 250 V. The aesthetics can be varied greatly as well. The designer is able to select from a diverse selection of ring colors, varying illuminations capable of supporting 3 mm THT LEDs or even SMT LEDs.
