Another way to improve torque at higher speeds would be to use a driver that can output a larger source voltage. In the graph, one can see the differences when using a 24VDC drive, 36VDC drive, and a 100VAC drive. Of course, this may then lead to increasing the cost in the system since the customer might need to use a higher rated power supply and driver.
