The premium evaluation kit includes additional functions. Apart from the basic range and ALS measurements, the premium kits provides the following additional features: range measurements graphs, ALS measurements graphs, can generate the offset calibration data that is needed to basically compensate for the offset, can generate crosstalk compensation data for application cover glass, it supports data logging and also supports a bypass mode allowing users to directly communicate to the VL6180X, finally it includes the calibration targets, the cover glass, and the spacers for the cover glass. The software and hardware documentation are available at my.st.com.
