As systems evolve, they certainly become more complex. NXP has an embedded ecosystem available to support the P5 including a large set of partners for operating systems, application stacks, development systems, trace tools and software and hardware development tools. RTOS and Linux support from ENEA, QNX, Wind River, Green Hills, Mentor Graphics and NXP are currently available. Another partner of interest is Critical Blue. Customers can use Critical Blue software to investigate multicore benefits before committing to the project. They can also use the software to squeeze the highest performance possible out of a multicore processor.
