The PolarFire® SoC FPGA family by Microchip provides smart, connected systems with defense-grade security, as well as low power consumption and thermal efficiency. Groundbreaking in its class, the PolarFire® SoC FPGA is the first system-on-chip (SoC) FPGA capable of seamlessly running Linux® and real-time applications, featuring a deterministic, coherent RISC-V CPU cluster and a deterministic L2 memory subsystem. With a wide range of options from 25 K to 460 K logic elements (LEs) and high-speed 12.7 Gbps transceivers, PolarFire SoC FPGAs deliver exceptional versatility and The memory interfaces feature a 36-bit DDR4/DDR3/LPDDR4/LPDDR3 memory controller with Single Error Correction Double Error Detection (SECDED) capability. These features ensure data integrity while enhancing system reliability and performance. In addition to its unmatched versatility, the PolarFire® SoC FPGA also provides flexibility for operating Safety-critical systems, system control, and security applications with LINUX operating systems, ensuring ease of operation.
