La robusta struttura dell'RNCE consente il funzionamento fino a +175 °C, nonché prestazioni antisolforato eccezionali, come dimostrato dalla bassa variazione di resistenza nei test ANSI/EIA 977 sullo zolfo. Inoltre, l'RNCE presenta proprietà anti-umidità in base agli standard più severi del settore e ai test specifici per le applicazioni, dimostrando anche variazioni di resistenza molto basse in caso di sovraccarico nel breve termine, cicli di temperatura, durata a carico e test ESD.
