Questa serie a film sottile è caratterizzata dal metodo di passivazione specializzato di Vishay per un'eccellente resistenza all'umidità ed è stata testata e qualificata per il severo test di umidità polarizzata +85 °C/85% per il settore automotive. La qualifica AEC-Q200 rende questa serie una scelta appropriata per le applicazioni ad alta affidabilità. I resistori in serie TNPW e TNPW e3 sono disponibili con dimensioni dell'involucro 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 e 1210, un'ampia gamma di resistenze da 1 Ω a 3,01 MΩ e potenze nominali superiori fino a 0,52 W. La serie TNPW e3 è disponibile con placcatura della terminazione in stagno puro, a norma RoHS, mentre la serie TNPW presenta una placcatura della terminazione in stagno-piombo (Pb). Inoltre, la serie TNPW e3 è sigillata contro l'esposizione a zolfo, verificata in conformità agli standard ASTM B 809 e ANSI/EIA-977.
