The waveforms shown on this slide are actual test results for ripple absorption when the 4V, 1MHz ripple is applied to three different 6.3V, 100µF capacitors. The ECAS series passes about one third the ripple of the conventional manganese dioxide tantalum capacitor. This higher ripple absorption is due to its lower impedance.
