AVX breaks up the LED circuit into 3 stages. Stage 1 is an input voltage source. This can be AC or DC and can vary over a large magnitude and power quality. Transient protection options are all based upon zinc oxide varistors. AVX varistors are available in DC, AC, and Automotive load dump ratings. In addition, AVX offers a wide variety of input filter capacitors for many different LED applications.
