Here are some of the features of Copal Electronics’ slide switches. First is the self-cleaning contact mechanism. The wiping action of the contact removes foreign particles from the surface of the contact. Gold-plated contacts are available in all of Copal’s slide switches. Using adequate heat-resistant resin in each part of the slide switch enables the switch to withstand the high temperatures required in Pb-free soldering.
