NXP’s RF division is comprised of three main product portfolios, with a long history of leadership and experience. The RF Division’s Cellular Infrastructure business has a long history in this market space, and part of the RFD strategy is to leverage this position to expand and grow into new markets and technologies. The GaAs/MMIC business consists of GPA (general purpose amplifiers), LNA (low noise amplifiers), and linear amplifiers for both the RF power product and cellular infrastructure customer base. Finally, the RF Power Products (RFPP) business is focused on the ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical), Broadcast, and Commercial Aerospace markets. RFPP has a dedicated portfolio that is performance-optimized for the Broadcast market, which includes a line of enhanced ruggedness devices.
