To ensure high reliability, ROHM’s products feature multiple protection circuits such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The waveform on the bottom of this slide explains the various driving modes and the relation between the step sizes of the driver to the waveforms of the stepper motor output current and output voltage. ROHM’s stepper motor driver covers the modes shown in this table.
