Panasonic’s fine pitched connectors come in two types. The first type which is the 2-piece narrow pitch connectors and the second, Panasonic’s single-piece FPC connectors. The high performance FPC connector is mounted on a board and locks the FPC in place by closing a lever. The low profile and slim size of these connectors is ideal for customers that are trying to make products miniaturized. Generally, wiring patterns can be placed underneath the connector.
