IPD Product Line

ROHM offers two categories of intelligent power devices (IPDs); they correspond to the location of the power switches being used in the circuit. High-side switches will be used for those switches that are located near the battery/power supply side, while ground referenced switches will use the low-side switch family. Both families have various features such as error flag output, slew rate control, and adjustable current limit, as well as others. Each feature is covered by a different sub-family of part numbers, as shown here.
