The 3M header connector N7G24 Series is designed to comply with the CFA specification for CFast Card revision 1.1. This requires the connector to meet 10,000 mating/unmating cycles. It incorporates a number of features designed to enhance board processing and in-service use. To assist in processing, slots for screws are located on either side of the solder tails and solder tabs in the extended guide rails, helping to affix the connector securely to the printed circuit board. Additionally, the solder tabs provide a pathway to ground. The long guide rails also incorporate polarization slots to ensure the CFast card is inserted correctly. The 17 power and control pins are separated from the 7 signal pins and can carry up to 1.5 Amperes DC per pin. The connector is rated at 100 Volts DC, 500AC. The Operating Temperature of the connector is in the range -40°C to + 85°C.
