In addition to the MAM, there are a number of other features that make the LPC2000 Flash unique. The LPC2300 and LPC2400 MCUs use a proprietary 0.14 micron, eFlash technology which provides low cost and low power. The Flash is comprised of two transistor NOR cells which provide high reliability, qualifying the Flash for many harsh environment automotive products throughout NXP. Additionally, the Flash has 8-bits of error correction for every 128 bits of Flash. This provides for single-bit error correction in the Flash. The code can also be secured through different levels of code read protection.
